Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team at Grieco Toyota. As a Lot Porter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our new and used car lots, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the car lots, including sweeping, cleaning, and restocking inventory
  • Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations
  • Park vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales/Marketing to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers
  • Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles
  • Drive vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested
  • May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards
Work Environment

The Lot Porter will work in a fast-paced dealership environment, spending time outdoors in the weather and elements, as well as indoors in air-conditioned areas. The position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk for prolonged periods, and lift over 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively
