The Assistant Director of Nursing is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department. This role requires a strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of care.
- Implement and maintain our clinical staffing model.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs.
- Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms and reports.
- Provide direct nursing care as needed, including on-call duties.
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Current, valid state RN license
- CPR certification
