Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GSOC Operator to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a GSOC Operator, you will be responsible for investigating alarms, alerting security services, and informing fire services when necessary. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about saving lives and protecting assets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Escalating and triaging incidents when necessary
  • Investigating alarms and responding by sending security patrol or alerting fire services or police, as needed
  • Providing first-line assistance to company employees in all concerns relating to safety and security, including monitoring the safety and security of traveling employees
  • Notifying and coordinating responses through the distribution of advisories and other communications
  • Compiling, reviewing, and logging incident reports and daily reports
  • Following procedures for managing a variety of incidents, from minor incidents at the local level to global crises
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, at times stressed work environment
  • Strong team player
  • Comfortable with high-tech working environment and willing to learn new tools and innovations
  • Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a GSOC, Security Operations Center (SOC), TOC, or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in International Affairs/Relations/Business, Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related discipline
  • Experience with security systems, including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV
  • Experience with mass employee notification systems
