Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. This position will work with students in grades K-12, providing essential therapy services to help them achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate students' needs and abilities to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals, ensuring students receive the necessary support to succeed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document students' progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress updates, ensuring students' needs are met.
Qualifications
  • Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current Indiana Occupational Therapist license.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work with a diverse student population.
