About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce release management professional to join our team at firstPRO, Inc. In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our software releases by coordinating with our Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automate application deployments in collaboration with DevOps engineers and the Development team to streamline our release processes.
  • Evaluate release candidates to ensure they meet security and compliance standards, have undergone successful testing, and obtained business approval and owner sign-off.
  • Coordinate releases to production after business hours and in accordance with service level agreement guidelines, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Assess the need for potential rollbacks during release implementation and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Foster lessons-learned meetings for release issues and follow through on resolutions.
  • Support release management activities to enhance practices, processes, and projects that drive value for the business.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of software release experience with commercial off-the-shelf applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingsness to occasionally travel overnight (in most cases by air).
  • Able to work outside of normal business hours, as your work schedule will be affected by project schedules.
