Infectious Disease Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infectious Disease Physician to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our Department of Infectious Diseases, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading clinical research initiatives, and contributing to the development of our infectious disease fellowship program.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including inpatient and outpatient consultations, and management of complex infectious disease cases.
- Lead clinical research initiatives, including study design, protocol development, and data analysis.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our infectious disease fellowship program, including curriculum design and mentorship of fellows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of infectious diseases.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Board certification in Infectious Diseases.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing complex infectious disease cases.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in clinical research, including study design, protocol development, and data analysis.
- Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of our infectious disease fellowship program.
