Job Summary

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services is seeking a PRN associate pathologist to provide coverage at our hospital facilities in the Central Houston market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality pathology services to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pathology
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • AP/CP board certification is required
  • Sub-specialty training/experience preferred
  • 2-3 + years post fellowship experience preferred
  • Ability to commit to shift work two months in advance
  • Proficiency in general surgical pathology, clinical interpretations, and recent experience performing frozen sections
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing
