eTeam Inc is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med Surg for an exciting travel nursing opportunity. This position is based in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Overview & Requirements

Shift Details: Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)

Applicants must possess an active Washington state nursing license. Please provide your license status: Active, In Process, or No License. If your license is in process, include the application date and estimated issue date. Candidates who have previously worked with any Providence-affiliated facility must have a minimum separation of 3 months to qualify for this travel contract.

We are open to candidates with experience as a MSW Care Manager (with either an Associate clinical license or LCISW) or as an RN Care Manager. Required qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in social work
  • Washington-issued post-MSW license, such as the licensed social work associate independent clinical

Experience in case management and discharge planning is essential. Familiarity with utilization management is beneficial but not mandatory. Local candidates are welcome to apply at travel rates.

Daily Patient Census: 18-20

Required Skills
  • General Skills: Experience in acute hospital settings, managing patients with communication challenges, and familiarity with community service programs.
  • Case Management: Proficient in admission criteria, initial evaluations, care coordination, and discharge planning.
  • Documentation: Accurate documentation in accordance with care plans and coverage criteria.

Major Disease Processes: Experience with conditions such as dementia and stroke is required; knowledge of other conditions like cancer and diabetes is preferred.
