RN Neuro/Ortho/Peds Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at UP Health System - Marquette. As a Neuro/Ortho/Peds RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care given and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

- State of Michigan RN license.
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 1 year.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 1 year.
