- Contractor Performance Monitoring: Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
- User Criteria Documentation: Develop detailed user criteria documentation for project implementation activities, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements.
- Scope of Work Development: Develop scope of work for the procurement of materials and labor, ensuring accurate and comprehensive project planning.
- Specification and Utility Standard Review: Review specifications, utility standards, and drawing reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Architect/Engineer Site Visits and Contractor Inquiries: Monitor and coordinate architect/engineer site visits and responses to contractor inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Shop Drawing and Submittal Review: Monitor delivery and review of shop drawings and submittals, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Contractor and Consultant Coordination: Coordinate update and review meetings with contractors and consultants, ensuring progress monitoring and issue resolution.
- Vendor and Contractor Payment Validation: Provide an initial review of vendor and contractor payment applications, validating actual project progress against approved schedule of values.
- Change Directive and Change Order Evaluation: Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives and change orders, ensuring cost-effective and timely project completion.
- Quality Control Program Oversight: Oversee the contractor's Quality Control program, ensuring adherence to project plans and regulatory requirements.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing complex budgets and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management, with intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
