Trinity Health is seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our Noninvasive Cardiology Department. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing stress testing modalities and ensuring the correct procedures are followed for each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Independently perform stress testing modalities and ensure the correct procedures are followed for each patient.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to obtain diagnostic information that will positively influence patient medical outcomes.
- Assume responsibility for the welfare and satisfaction of patients during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide Phase I cardiac rehab services to inpatients.
- Participate in the orientation, inservice, and training of other team members and students.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technical personnel in the stress lab and participate in improving and developing cardiovascular stress lab and rehab programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
- Minimum of six (6) months clinical experience.
- ACSM eligible (completion of certification within one year of hire).
- BLS and ACLS required.
