Job SummaryThe Solar Technician 3 is a senior field position responsible for performing electrical and mechanical services. This role requires leadership and training skills to ensure all equipment operates at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are reviewed and understood before work begins.
- Oversee and provide direction to junior technicians.
- Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on solar, energy storage, and EV charging installations.
- Troubleshoot installations efficiently and determine the root cause of issues.
- Complete all assigned tasks safely, correctly, and within the allotted time.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and writing.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation.
- Proven experience understanding and implementing OSHA regulations.
- Ability to drive a vehicle.
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk distances up to 5 miles.
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and the like.
