Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking to enhance its team with skilled Gastroenterologists. The group operates within the framework of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC), a prominent healthcare provider in the region.

The Metropolitan Hospital Center, situated in a vibrant area, handles over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits, and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions each year. The hospital is affiliated with New York Medical College, fostering an environment of academic excellence.

Position Highlights:
- Opportunity to work in a high-volume, state-of-the-art endoscopy unit, aimed at cultivating the next generation of gastroenterologists.

- Access to five procedure rooms, all with near 100% anesthesia support, including two rooms equipped for general anesthesia and one for fluoroscopy for ERCP.
- Engagement in an active fellowship program where fellows take first call.
- Flexibility to perform conscious sedation procedures.
- Involvement in advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, Motility, Bravo, and Capsule Endoscopy.
- Opportunity to balance clinical responsibilities with teaching, with no fixed percentage for outpatient or procedural work.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school.
- Possession of an active or eligible NY state medical license.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
