Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert care to patients with wound and ostomy needs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise in wound and ostomy care, considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in caring for patients with wound and/or ostomy needs.
  • Stay current with the latest research and evidence-based practices, incorporating them into clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current Michigan License as a Registered Nurse
  • Completion of Enterostomal Therapy program certification within 6 months of hire
  • BCLS (CPR) within 6 months of hire
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing
