About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Analyst to join our team at Nestle Purina PetCare Company. As a Category Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and category leadership in the pet care industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies and tactics based on interpretation of category performance, competitive activity, and shopper behavior.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and recommendations that drive business growth and category leadership.
  • Utilize syndicated data, BI dashboards, consumer data, and shopper data to uncover opportunities and provide analytical recommendations.
  • Lead the work on setting visual store sets and digital shelf recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic connected commerce business plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1 year experience in category development, business analytics, or marketing.
  • Experience with Kroger data (Market6, 84.51 Stratum, IRI, PowerBI, Nielsen) is preferred.
  • Experience working with larger retailers is preferred.
