We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of compassionate caregivers at Tennessee Quality Care. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing personalized medical care to patients recovering from surgery or illness, coping with a difficult health challenge, or seeking end-of-life care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
  • Implement plans of care initiated by registered nurses.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Assess and educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and information related to diagnosis and care plans.
  • Participate in the coordination of home health services and report identified needs to registered nurses and clinical supervisors.
  • Use and prepare equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently, adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Participate in personal and professional growth and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by registered nurses.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
  • Three years of nursing experience, with community/home health or medical/surgical experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.
