Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a safety advocate within the organization.
- Lead Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and commissioning initiatives.
- Engage in safety assessments and design evaluations.
- Provide primary engineering support for midstream operations.
- Drive initiatives for process enhancement, cost efficiency, and emission reductions.
- Oversee compressor performance optimization.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop equipment specifications.
- Manage pipeline and facility construction projects as a project manager.
- Create and monitor budgets for midstream engineering projects.
- Work alongside operations to establish maintenance and operational procedures.
- Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis on malfunctioning equipment.
- Perform testing on new equipment performance.
- Ensure timely project execution in line with established schedules.
- Maintain proactive communication of project updates to all relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in pipeline design, process simulation, facilities design, compression operations, and construction management.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, design standards, and safety protocols.
- Experience managing PHA, PSSR, and safety design processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills, demonstrated through effective teamwork in multidisciplinary settings.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
