Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Act as the primary resource for offshore facilities, offering expertise on intricate engineering challenges, standards, and best practices.
  • Engineering Design: Create comprehensive engineering designs for offshore platforms, floating production systems, and related infrastructure, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry norms, and regulatory standards.
  • Project Oversight: Gather project requirements from stakeholders and formulate a project basis of design to enhance operational efficiency. Supervise the planning, execution, and conclusion of offshore facility projects, managing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
  • Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all engineering activities conform to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments, ensuring the implementation of necessary safety measures.
  • Operational Support: Provide technical assistance for the operation and maintenance of existing offshore facilities, addressing engineering issues and recommending enhancements.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Collaborate with regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing offshore oil and gas operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propel initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of offshore facilities by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Documentation: Generate detailed engineering reports, project documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, maintaining accurate records of engineering activities.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while upholding high standards of engineering integrity and safety.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update senior management, clients, and other stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues, ensuring clear communication throughout all project phases.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Contribute to emergency response planning and exercises related to offshore facilities, providing engineering support during actual emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on Petroleum.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in deep-water production operations, including offshore well intervention and process facilities operations.
  • Extensive experience with Petex PROSPER and GAP models.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for experience in MS Teams.
  • Strong commitment to safety and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Willingness to travel offshore as required.
