Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of various shipments, including household items and fitness equipment.
- Ensure precise and efficient processing of warehouse orders, which involves pulling, packing, stacking, and releasing shipments.
- Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and containers.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the day.
- Assemble and disassemble fitness equipment as required.
- Monitor and report any damages to incoming or outgoing shipments and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and management to enhance warehouse operations.
- Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate records of stock and shipments.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills in daily tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Physical fitness is essential due to the nature of the work.
