Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Step Down ICU department at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote quality patient outcomes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients and their families
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to promote quality patient outcomes
  • Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and push/pull objects weighing up to 200 pounds
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
