Caregiver Job Description

Frontier Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at The Auberge at Bee Cave community in Bee Cave, Texas.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and support to residents with kindness, excellent communication, and teamwork.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and fellow employee's information.
  • Notify Health Services Director/Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director of resident changes of condition.
  • Assist in the dining room during meal times, including set up, taking meal/beverage orders, serving, and busing tables.
  • Participate in activities and get residents to scheduled appointments.
  • Get residents ready and to the lobby for scheduled appointments.
  • Be aware of what constitutes a change of condition and report to Medication Aide/Resident Care Coordinator/RN immediately.
  • Take accurate vital signs and weights.
  • Assist with care needs of residents, including lifting requirements up to 40 pounds.
  • Keep current on First Aid/CPR as directed by Resident Care Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management staff.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population. Previous experience preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and other meetings.
  • Receive and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
