Job Overview

The University of Miami's Aventura Chemotherapy Infusion Clinic seeks a skilled Nurse Oncologist to join our team. As a professional RN, you will administer standard chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, research study medications, and provide care to oncology patients with multiple disease processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer standard chemotherapy, research study agents, biotherapy agents, and non-chemotherapy medications.
  • Monitor therapeutic responses and side effects, and obtain pharmacokinetic blood samples and other laboratory specimens as required by each protocol.
  • Assist in maintenance of up-to-date protocol information in clinical areas.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
  • Oncology Nurse Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of oncology nursing experience to include recent experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents.
