We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced History Instructor to join our team as an Academic Affiliate. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in History at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Key Responsibilities- Teach assigned classes in person or online, delivering course content to students and preparing course materials and lesson plans.
- Grade student work and provide students with robust feedback in a timely manner.
- Address student questions consistent with university, college/school, and department policies.
- Provide online or in-person academic support to students as needed and appropriate for the teaching assignment.
- Comply with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation policies.
- Master's degree in History or a closely related field.
- Doctorate in History or a related field (preferred).
- Teaching experience, with assignments based on departmental needs and the applicant's education and/or experience in the areas to be taught.
