As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will engage in delivering the most advanced, innovative, and cost-effective treatment options tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
In this role, you will provide professional nursing care under minimal supervision, adhering to established standards and practices. You will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of age-specific differences in our patient population, which includes late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. This encompasses the physiological, psychological, and developmental variations unique to each demographic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and comply with the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited professional nursing education program.
- Willingness to train the right candidate, with a preference for those with oncology experience.
- Opportunities for professional growth available upon obtaining oncology certification.
- Experience and knowledge regarding the purpose and use of medications in cancer treatment is advantageous.
- Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- ONS certification is preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining continuing education requirements.
