Location: Tyler, TX

Type: Travel/Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 5x8-Hour Days or 4x10-Hour Days (to be confirmed in the interview)

Job Summary:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Tyler, TX. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for operating cath lab equipment, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the quality of digital imaging. Your expertise will contribute to a high standard of care for patients, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cath lab and digital processing equipment efficiently.
  • Assist with various cath lab procedures, including scrubbing and X-ray operation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area, including managing supplies.
  • Ensure high-quality digital imaging for Cardiac Cath procedures.
  • Provide specialized care in Diagnostic Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Peripheral Angiography.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to deliver optimal patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including knowledge of EP Lab procedures.
  • Current Texas MRT License is required.
  • ARRT (R) or CCI (RCIS) certification is preferred.
  • BLS (AHA only) certification is required.
  • ACLS (AHA only) certification is preferred.
  • Prior travel experience is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; locals are not accepted.
