Job Title: Wound Care Specialist

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking a challenging new career opportunity? Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Wound Care Specialist will be responsible for the community's general application of the skin management program. This includes delivering safe, efficient, and effective treatment to heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess wounds and create treatment plans
  • Monitor infections and signs of various infections
  • Clean wounds and provide specialized treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure effective wound care
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which you are practicing
  • Prior Wound Care experience required
  • Minimum of one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
