Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, conduct, and evaluate agency-wide training programs, and will work closely with management to identify training needs and develop solutions. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct needs analysis to determine training and performance needs, and develop recommendations for improvement.
  2. Design and develop training materials, including training manuals, demonstration models, and multimedia visual aids.
  3. Conduct training sessions on a variety of topics, including orientation, customer service, and new policies and procedures.
  4. Provide career development support to employees, including counseling on training programs and resources.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including data entry and reporting.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience in training and development, and will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
