In this position, you will report directly to the President and General Manager, taking charge of essential accounting responsibilities. This includes managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, with opportunities to oversee the complete month-end closing process. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the management and upkeep of the general ledger, ensuring precise and timely transaction recording.
  • Process and oversee vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Maintain and update vendor records, including contact details and payment terms.
  • Generate and dispatch invoices to customers promptly.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and manage collection efforts effectively.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, procurement, and sales, to guarantee accurate financial data and reporting.
  • Identify and propose process enhancements to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting functions.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookup, pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
