Sterile Processing Technician PRN/On-Call

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team on a part-time PRN/on-call basis. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients by maintaining a clean and sterile environment for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean, inspect, and package surgical instruments, specialty sets, and other reusable instruments following all surgical procedures and established regulations.
  • Operate sterilization equipment, including cart washers, washer disinfectors, steam sterilizers, other sterilizers, heat sealers, and Sterris machines.
  • Order and restock the surgery department with supplies and instruments and respond to specific requests.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified in a recognized Central Service organization preferred.
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
