We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team on a part-time PRN/on-call basis. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients by maintaining a clean and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean, inspect, and package surgical instruments, specialty sets, and other reusable instruments following all surgical procedures and established regulations.
- Operate sterilization equipment, including cart washers, washer disinfectors, steam sterilizers, other sterilizers, heat sealers, and Sterris machines.
- Order and restock the surgery department with supplies and instruments and respond to specific requests.
- Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified in a recognized Central Service organization preferred.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
