Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Electrophysiology Lab for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift Length: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Unit Details - Cath Lab

• Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

• Shift Type: 5x8

• Documentation System: EPIC

• On-Call Requirement: Yes, 12 times per month

• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Certifications Required

• Mandatory: ACLS, BLS, NIH

• Preferred: AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate, CCRN, CPI, PALS

Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted

• Trauma Level I experience

• Patient Diagnoses: STEMI, Stroke, Trauma

• General Skills: Circulate, Conscious Sedation, Pulmonary Artery Lines, Scrub, Telemetry, Triage, Vents

• Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred

• Must possess IR or Special Procedures experience, as floating out of the Cath Lab will be necessary.

Equipment/System Experience Required

• Balloon Pump

• Impella

• Rapid Infusion

• ICP

COVID Vaccination is mandatory. All requests for time off must be included with the initial submission.
