We are seeking a highly skilled and certified lifeguard to join our team at the Oak Brook Park District. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons and providing a positive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce pool rules and regulations in a firm but friendly manner
- Provide assistance and support to patrons as needed
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as necessary
- Participate in regular training and in-service sessions to maintain and improve skills
- Minimum age of 16 years old
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification (including First Aid and infant, child, and adult CPR)
- Knowledge of water safety practices and usage of water safety equipment
