Position Title: Room Attendant

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Housekeeping

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview: Responsible for the thorough cleaning and replenishment of all designated guest accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collects additional cleaning and guest room supplies from the Housekeeping department.
  • Meets daily cleaning quotas for assigned rooms, adhering to established standards.
  • Sanitizes and maintains guest rooms, addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Ensures a tidy and organized workspace at all times.
  • Restocks guest room amenities as required.
  • Reports maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Engineering team.
  • Keeps linen storage areas orderly.
  • Prepares for the next day by stocking necessary supplies.
  • Checks and empties vacuum bags as needed throughout the day.
  • Provides courteous assistance to guests.
  • Handles lost and found items by reporting and delivering them to the Housekeeping office.

Work Schedule: Part-time, availability required during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A minimum of some high school education and at least six months of relevant work experience is required.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English; Spanish is an advantage.

Team Dynamics: This role is part of a structured team within the department.
