Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and other department inquiries.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas.
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
