Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist for our Print Department. This role involves maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting electrical systems, and programming our dry offset printing presses and large-scale industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance of all printing production equipment.
This dedicated Specialist will execute mechanical repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and offer support to other technical roles. They take pride in their safety mindset, meticulous attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, exemplary work ethic, and consistent attendance.Job Details:

Responsibilities:
Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly preventative maintenance assignments on all dry offset printing presses.
Complete assigned work order tasks.
Document daily tasks performed and completed in the Berry PM Program.
Report daily usage of parts through scanning or other reporting methods.
Assist production group leaders with daily machine issues.
Maintain communication with incoming and outgoing maintenance technicians and the Printing Maintenance Group Leader.
Adhere to GMP, housekeeping, and safety standards.
Willingness to train entry-level technicians (Level 1).
Basic understanding of electrical systems.
Repair and rebuild color heads.
Remove and replace electric motors.
Replace belts and bearings.
Utilize auxiliary equipment (drill, grinder, band saw, etc.).
Locate parts from parts lists.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience in electrical troubleshooting and understanding of codes.
Must prioritize safety and quality at all times.
5-7 years of equipment maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Additional training may be required to retain the position.
Familiarity with PLCs, Drives, and robotics.
Ability to read wiring, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Must have basic equipment maintenance tools and a multimeter.
Must be responsible, self-motivated, and team-oriented, with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
Willingness to take a hands-on approach during process interruptions.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
