About Impact Dojo

Impact Dojo is a dynamic and innovative martial arts organization dedicated to empowering children and adults through the practice of martial arts. Founded in 2015 in the Chicagoland area, we have experienced rapid growth and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced martial arts instructor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate martial arts instructor to lead our classes and programs for children and adults. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality martial arts instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness, discipline, and character development.
  • Supervise and manage students during classes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in martial arts instruction.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching martial arts to children and adults.
  • Strong background in martial arts, with a focus on karate, taekwondo, or other compatible styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
