Job Summary

National Pipe & Plastics, a leading PVC pipe producer in North America, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and machinery in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and testing of machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Install and assemble new equipment, following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols
  • Use power tools and hand tools to complete maintenance tasks and work orders
  • Log maintenance work and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience with Cincinnati Milacron machines and Theason Extruders a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
  • Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plastics extrusion processing a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day
