Role Overview:

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to enhance our dynamic Production team. As an Assembly Technician at KCF Technologies, you will engage in a collaborative environment within one of the most innovative sectors in technology. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player focused on precision and thoroughness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a variety of routine and complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Adjust, align, and perform tests using fixtures or electronic testing devices.
  • Validate design, fabrication, and assembly setups.
  • Utilize advanced skills to wire, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate moderately complex equipment and sub-assemblies, including electrical interconnects, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid flow, or vacuum technologies.
  • Disassemble, modify, refurbish, and reassemble units as necessary.
  • Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, and instructions to construct electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
  • Maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Review and provide feedback on moderately complex reports and manufacturing procedures.
  • Complete additional tasks or special projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Basic computer proficiency (familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing and assembly
  • IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire Harness certification
  • IPC-7711/7721 certification for rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies
