Cannon Industries is seeking a skilled Metal Finisher/Grinder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for grinding and smoothing surfaces of various items to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine and feel the surface of work pieces for defects and imperfections.
  • Operate grinders and other equipment to remove scratches and imperfections, and polish ground areas to produce smooth, unmarred surfaces.
  • Select the appropriate grade of abrasive belt, wheel, or disk according to specifications.
  • Replace worn abrasive disks, wheels, and belts as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment to move parts and part containers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum one year or more experience in a related field.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a warehouse environment with varying weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
