Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced nursing knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care to patients.
- As a float pool nurse, apply specialized skills and competencies across various units.
- Supervise and guide the care provided by nursing assistants and support staff, ensuring accountability for patient care.
- Be prepared to rotate to different areas beyond your usual assignments, performing only those duties for which you are qualified.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or an active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required for all Float Pool Registered Nurses.
- Additional certifications may be required based on specialty unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, STABLE, TNCC, ENPC, NRP).
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience in acute care is required, with specific experience requirements varying by position.
