About the Opportunity

HCA San Antonio Division is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at South Texas Radiology Group. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, pathologists, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
  • Fellowship training in emergency, cardiothoracic, abdominal, musculoskeletal, or pediatric radiology.
  • Licensure in the state of Texas or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative subspecialized environment with local surgeons, pathologists, and other medical staff.
  • Ability to perform or willingness to learn non-vascular procedures.
