Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Tharaldson Hospitality. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Housekeeping Staff
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.
- Ensure High-Quality Housekeeping Standards
- Develop and implement housekeeping standards and procedures to ensure that our hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
- Manage Housekeeping Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and supply ordering.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the housekeeping department.
- Communicate with Guests and Colleagues
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across the hotel to ensure that housekeeping needs are met and that guests receive exceptional service.
- Education and Experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- At least one year of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
