Substation Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Electrician to join our team at Cianbro. As a key member of our electrical team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in high voltage environments.

• Install and maintain electrical systems, including raceways, wiring, and equipment related to metering, communication systems, and relaying systems.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical motors, complex electronic devices, control panels, relays, conduit, and switches.
• Use meter and motor testing equipment to ensure proper electrical operation.
• Ability to understand control schematics and read installation instructions and wiring diagrams.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
• Completed an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Preferred OSHA certification.
• Knowledge of technical practices in high voltage equipment maintenance and repair.
