Job SummaryThe Cultivation Technician plays a critical role in supporting the operations of our Cultivation department. This position involves manual labor, working in a fast-paced environment, and adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform physical, repetitive agricultural tasks, following instructions from supervisors.
- Repetitive climbing on ladders or working on elevated platforms.
- Watering and treating plants.
- Filling pots with soil.
- Pruning plants.
- Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Cultivation experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass a comprehensive background screening.
- Ability to handle organic matter daily, wear PPE as needed, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
- Ability to work seated/standing as needed, maintain body equilibrium, and use hands/fingers to complete tasks.
- Visual acuity to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection.
- Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is offered with this position. This role will work an average of 40 hours per week and may require occasional work outside of regular hours in case of an emergency.
