Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ITOM Solution Architect to join our team at TechnoSphere, Inc. as a key member of our ServiceNow implementation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement ITOM Solutions: Utilize industry best practices to design and implement ITOM solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Integration and Configuration: Advise, design, and configure integration solutions between ServiceNow and other CMDB tools to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • CMDB Design and Architecture: Develop a deep understanding of ServiceNow CMDB model and extensions, and apply this knowledge to design and implement CMDB solutions.
  • Hands-on Development: Create, configure, and customize patterns, Discovery Schedules, probes, sensors, and Event rules to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Integration with Enterprise Tools: Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with a variety of enterprise monitoring tools, automate alerts, and application management tools using OOB plugins and API methods.
  • Implementation Expertise: Leverage experience in implementing ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases to drive business value.
  • 3rd Party Integrations: Design and implement integrations with 3rd party software to enhance the ServiceNow platform.
  • Customization and Configuration: Design and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, and more to meet the needs of our clients.
  • MID Server Management: Manage MID Servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implementation Leadership: Lead the configuration and customization of ServiceNow instances to drive business value.
Desirable Skills
  • Application Architecture: Experience in application architecture, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Cloud Computing: Well-versed in modern web technologies and cloud computing architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.
  • Application and Technology Portfolio Management: Understanding of Application and Technology Portfolio Management principles.
  • Discovery Technologies: Experience with discovery technologies (ADDM, TADDM, UD, etc.).
  • Scripting Technologies: Familiarity with scripting technologies such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, wmi, ssh, python, Xpath, SNMP.
  • Custom Applications Development: Experience in developing custom applications.
  • Performance Analytics: Experience in working on Performance Analytics.
  • Service Portal Design: Design and modification of ServiceNow Service Portal.
  • Domain Separation: Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains.
  • LDAP/Active Directory/SSO: Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory/SSO principles.
  • Best Practice Recommendations: Review existing set up and provide best practice recommendations in line with the OEM.
  • ServiceNow Health Monitoring: Monitor health, usage, and compliance of ServiceNow systems.
  • ServiceNow Best Practices: Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
  • HTML Coding and Jelly Script: Experience with HTML coding and Jelly script strongly preferred.
  • Scripting in ServiceNow: Experience with scripting in ServiceNow (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.).
Requirements
  • ServiceNow Experience: 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow required.
  • IT Industry Experience: 8+ years of experience with IT Industry required.
Academics
  • Certifications: Certification as ServiceNow System certified administration, CIS in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Mgmt, Cloud Mgmt, Certified Implementation Specialist- ITSM, ITIL Foundations certification is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
