Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and situation, and analyze this data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
- Developing Care Plans: Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation, and implement, coordinate, and educate to promote health and a safe practice environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice, and demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Professional Development: Attain knowledge and competence that reflect current nursing practice, and apply the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to Emergency Nursing practice.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Experience: No experience required.
- License and Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State, Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN), and Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) or other relevant certifications.
As a Nurse Practitioner at SSM Health, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing care to patients in the Emergency Department. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
