In this role, you will enhance your leadership capabilities by supporting the Store Manager with account oversight, customer engagement, and risk assessment.
Your responsibilities will include training, mentoring, and guiding customer service representatives while championing compliance and ensuring adherence to Company standards.
Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols will contribute to a professional and respectful atmosphere valued by both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and oversee Customer Service Team Members to guarantee compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and Company policies.
Evaluate financial transaction risks, process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products accurately.
Build and nurture customer relationships through daily inbound and outbound call campaigns aimed at generating new business, maintaining store profitability, and enhancing brand loyalty.
Maximize customer satisfaction by recommending ancillary products tailored to their needs.
Ensure security protocols are followed and manage proper opening and closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer management.
Oversee account management and recovery processes while maintaining a strong focus on customer service to mitigate loss and charge-off accounts, including collection communications.
Uphold a work environment that complies with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct store audits, generate reports, and compile financial data to ensure staff compliance.
Monitor and maintain the internal and external appearance of the store, addressing basic facility needs and scheduling maintenance services.
Work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks to meet individual and team performance standards.
Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends.
A full-time schedule for this position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Store hours and schedules may vary at the discretion of the Company.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
At least 3 months of supervisory or relevant leadership experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
Background check required (subject to applicable law).
Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include:
Remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, moving and transporting up to 25 pounds, navigating inside and outside of the store, and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in a sales or customer service-oriented leadership role.
Management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, financial services, or related industries.
Familiarity with check cashing, document verification, and money order processing.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
