About the JobAs a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse at Parkridge Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Job ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all nursing care
- Reacting accordingly to emergencies
- Administering medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction
- Scrumbing and assisting physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies
- Providing accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics
- Recording, monitoring, and demonstrating understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current Nursing (RN) licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Must have ACLS or complete ACLS training within 6 months of hire
The estimated salary for this position is $$94,854 per year in Chattanooga, TN, based on national averages and industry standards.
