You will develop and maintain knowledge of transit routes and schedules, as well as operational procedures and protocols, to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of public transportation services, working closely with drivers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of transit routes and schedules, as well as operational procedures and protocols, to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on transit operations, including route sheets, driver manifests, and vehicle maintenance logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in public transportation management, preferably with a focus on dispatching and coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
