Behavioral Therapist

Job Description:

At Higher Aspirations Behavior Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a certified BCBA/BCaBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing behavioral programs to improve the lives of individuals with varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach replacement behaviors, acquisition skills, and verbal behavior to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Manage caseloads effectively and efficiently, working independently while receiving training and supervision as needed.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of problem behaviors.
• Develop Behavior Plans to improve behavior and increase positive outcomes.
• Submit required reports in a timely manner and maintain accurate records.
• Train and monitor staff members and caregivers on new and existing behavior programs and protocols.
• Complete behavioral progress reports and service logs/notes.
• Attend support plan meetings, supervision meetings, and treatment team meetings.
• Arrange and schedule sessions with individuals, families, or caregivers.

Requirements:

• Certification in BCBA or BCaBA required; no exceptions.
• Ability to complete Live Scan and Local Law background checks.
• Complete all required training per APD standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in developing and implementing behavioral programs.

Pay Range:

Determined by certification, level, experience, and commitment.

Positions:

• BCaBA/Level 3: $30-$40
• BCBA Level 2: $40-$50
• BCBA Level 1: $50-$60
