Florida Cancer Specialists: Radiation Oncology Opportunity

We are seeking a board-certified radiation oncologist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Wesley Chapel clinic. This full-service clinic will offer medical hematologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists, and radiologists under one roof.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Treatment planning and delivery using Varian linear accelerators and ARIA and Eclipse network systems
  • Collaboration with medical physics and certified dosimetrists on site
  • Leadership and guidance of radiation therapists, registered nurses, and other support staff
  • Participation in clinical research studies and the development of new cancer therapies
Requirements:
  • Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO license
  • Board certification in radiation oncology
  • Current knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques
